Seasonal Lot Technician/Detailer

Have an eye for detail? Would you love to hang around European cars all day? We are looking for a customer focused person who is passionate about vehicles and has the dedication and motivation to match. 

 

The key role of the Lot Technician/Detailer is to support the safety and cleanliness of the workshop, and assist with  providing professional level detailing all the while providing exceptional customer service. The person in this position must communicate clearly and routinely with the Chief Detailer, Service Advisors and other team members to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all client vehicles are cleaned in a timely manner as directed by the Chief Detailer and Service Advisors
  • Work with the team members to schedule and complete duties in a timely manner with the goal to meet our clients’ needs
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the detail department and other areas of the shop
  • Work effectively and productively with all team members to help create and grow the detailing department and the company as a whole
  • Periodically distribute Motor Werke promotional materials and attend events
  • Maintain personal grooming, hygiene and uniform standards as set forth in the Employee Handbook

Required Education and Certificates:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent is mandatory
  • Valid BC Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract is mandatory
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is mandatory
