Daily Duties:

  • Coordinate with the Service Provider by diagnosing vehicles to understand and isolate the problem.
  • Create a plan of parts and labor required to rectify faults.
  • Repair/service units according to the processes and procedures of Motor Werke.

Key responsibilities:

  • Electrical and engine troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Diagnose and repair of all European makes and models, new to old.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service.

This position may be an excellent fit for you if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a mechanic repair shop, including troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Mechanical aptitude
  • Automotive Mechanics or Heavy-Duty Mechanics experience
  • Knowledge and experience with small engine repair (Diesel and Gas)
  • 12-volt electrical installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as well as the physical ability to be working in, under, and around the vehicles being worked on
  • Excitement and passion for working in a supportive team environment

Experience in each of the following is considered an asset:

  • 2 years of trade school training or current enrollment in an apprenticeship trades program – Automotive Mechanics or Heavy-Duty Mechanics
  • Welding skills

This position is full-time and starts asap.

Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5 pm with opportunity for overtime.
