Our Service Advisors have a keen eye for detail guiding our clients seamlessly through their vehicle repair and maintenance process. They personalize each client interaction, and achieve all of this with a huge smile because they truly love their job.

Motor Werke is looking for a full time Service Advisor to join our European auto experts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops strong relationships with the customer and continues to develop relationships by:
  • Greeting and serving the customer promptly and courteously (both on the phone or in the dealership).
  • Addressing customer questions/needs promptly and professionally.
  • Scheduling appointments based on service calls.
  • Making each customer interaction personalized.
  • Handling the rare customer complaint and ensuring high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Establishing ongoing consulting relationships with customers by being available during normal hours to answer questions, explaining additional repairs needed, and making subsequent service appointments
  • Inspects the vehicle by completing a complete walk around using the iPad/tablet.
  • Asking the proper questions to ensure the vehicle to be serviced is diagnosed properly.
  • Applies proper tools and resources to accurately identify and verify customers’ service needs. Records them along with the current vehicle and customer information on the repair order.
  • Verifies customer approval of service work that will be performed and was recommended but declined.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service(s) to customers.
  • Performs a consultative vehicle re-delivery with the customer when work is completed. Prior to the re-delivery, ensures the vehicle is clean and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule.
  • Writes and verifies accurate repair orders and reviews all copies, including supporting documentation before providing to the Technician. Ensures customer receives the claim check.
  • Meeting and exceeding services, parts and accessory sales targets;
  • Meeting and exceeding service/repair orders processed targets;
  • Maintaining a 1% or less average of customer returns due to improper repairs.
  • Ensures new and used vehicle warranty repairs by approving adjustments within the standard warranty periods.
  • Coordinates with the Parts & Service Manager or other service personnel and communicates with customers and technicians regarding repair work. Determines the duration required for work completion.
  • Checks on progress of repairs throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains costs and time requirements in details, and receives proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Has a fundamental understanding of automotive mechanical fundamentals.
  • Flexible and open to change; takes on special tasks as needed.
  • Must be results oriented and accountable.
  • Proven ability to be a problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Class 5 British Columbian driver’s license.
  • Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Must be punctual, reliable and independent.
  • Team player, quick thinker, and able to multi-task.

This position is full-time and starts asap.

Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5 pm with opportunity for overtime.
